About Me
My name is Oke (pronounced “oh -care”), the heart and soul behind this blog. I am a proud wife, devoted mom, voracious reader, film aficionado, aspiring globetrotter, and lover of all things home.
Welcome to my little corner of the universe
I share slices of my life, experiences, and all the joys (and challenges) that come with it. Being married to my college sweetheart, Toni, has been one of my life's greatest blessings. Together, we've built a beautiful family of six. We share our lives with four amazing children, three of whom have been diagnosed with autism. Our journey has been filled with unique adventures, deep understanding, unconditional love, and a daily dose of laughter.

Home & Family
At heart, I am a homebody. You'll mostly find me within the cozy confines of our home, pouring my love into our family, and spreading joy from our little side to wherever this blog reaches. I am also a mature soul, navigating life with patience, understanding, and an unyielding will to keep growing.
Enjoying life, slowly
Having a taste for the finer things in life doesn't necessarily mean extravagant. For me, it's about savoring the slow life and appreciating the little things — the comforting warmth of a home-cooked meal, the quiet hush of early morning reading, the immersive escape into a great movie, or the infectious laughter of our kids echoing throughout the house.
I aspire to see the world with my not-so-little tribe, making beautiful memories and learning along the way. I have an eternal love for good food (the smell of fresh banga soup boiling on the stove makes me very happy) and sharing extended family time, which in my book, is the perfect recipe for happiness. I'm the eternal optimist, always looking on the bright side even in challenging times.
I hope my blog resonates with you, provides you with comfort, and maybe, even inspires you. Together, let's embrace the roller coaster of life with open hearts and radiant smiles. So grab a cup of tea (or coffee), snuggle up, and enjoy the journey with us. Welcome to my world!
